Dear President Donald Trump
I am a Russian man who, of course, loves his country and has a liking for you and your country.
There is a “people’s diplomacy” concept when ordinary people try and help to contribute to solve some significant tasks between their countries. I would like our two large countries to be friends and understand each other even better. Moreover, they say that we are alike.
So, I invite you and Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin at the time convenient for you to be my guests in Moscow, where we at a round table and a glass of whiskey would have known and understood each other even better.
As we become older and accumulate some life experience, we become thinking more about what will remain after us. And I being a citizen of Russia who worries about my country’s destiny, its present being and future, I suppose that the meeting of the leaders of our two large states will benefit our countries and the whole world. Sorry for my stilted style!
In December 2016, I sent you the congratulations due to the election you as a U.S. President, and I am sure that you will be reelected for the second term.
Let me tell a little about myself. I was born on April 18, 1941 – the year when the Great Patriotic War began. My father born in 1900 had the official exemption from the military draft, but despite this he joined the militia forces and in March 1942 he was killed at the battlefield. Our mother became seriously ill and we, three her children were brought up in orphanages of the Moscow region for six years.
After our mother’s recovery, she succeed in bringing up us, and in our country we all passed the all usual stages – graduated the school and higher education institutions having gained a higher education and further professional experience.
